To successfully open and verify your SmartSaver account, you’ll need to meet the following requirements:
Be at least 18 years old
Have a personal bank account in the SEPA zone (Single Euro Payments Area)
Have one of the following identity verification documents with a visible expiration date, valid within the EU or Switzerland: Permanent Residency Document, Citizenship Document, Passport, or Driving License
Family trusts, partnerships, limited liability companies, and other organisations must also have a bank account in the SEPA zone.
You can only open one Personal SmartSaver account and one Business SmartSaver account. You cannot have multiple accounts of either type.
