Passive Income mode lets you turn your earnings into regular monthly payouts. Your balance keeps earning every day as usual and the only change is where that earning goes. You can turn Passive Income mode on or off at any time.
How to activate Passive Income Mode
Log in to your SmartSaver Account→ Go to the 'Main' section → Select Passive Income.
From here you will choose where it goes, either to your bank account or card and on the 1st of each month your returns will be paid out. its that simple.
How Passive Income payouts work
Returns will still accumulate daily within your Main Account & Vaults, just like before.
On the 1st of each month we will calculate the accumulated returns you earned in the previous month and pay it out as one automatic payment.
Where your payout goes:
You choose where your monthly payout is sent:
Bank transfer - Sent to your linked bank account.
Card payout - Sent to your stored card. (Card payouts will include a 1% fee)
You can change your payout method in the Passive Income settings at any time & any change applies to all future payouts.
Monthly payout limit
The monthly payout limit is €0–€50,000.
If your earned return is above this limit, we will only pay out up to €50,000 for that month, any remaining returns stays in your Main Account and continues to accumulate.
What if I activate Passive Income Mode mid-month?
If you activate Passive Income partway through a month, your first payout will still include the total accumulated returns earned earlier in that month.
Example: You activate Passive Income on 15th March.
On 1st April, you receive a payout that includes all returns earned in March.
What happens when you deactivate Passive Income Mode?
If you deactivate Passive Income, that month’s returns stays in your Main Account instead of being paid out, and from there it continues to accumulate daily.
Additional Information:
Withdrawals and returns
Pending withdrawals do not change how your return is calculated.
Returns on your Main Account are still calculated on your balance according to the normal rules, whether or not you have a withdrawal in progress.
Bonuses and promotions
Bonuses and promotional rewards are not included in Passive Income payouts, they stay in your Main Account and follow the rules of the specific promotion.

Does Passive Income Mode change my Rate of Return?
No, Passive Income Mode doesn’t change how much return you earn, it only changes how you receive the the returns (as a monthly payout instead of leaving it in your Main Account).
Why didn't I receive my Passive Income payment this month?
If you made a withdrawal during the month, your Passive Income payment may not be processed.
This can happen if the withdrawal amount consumed your accumulated earnings or reduced your Main Account balance to zero. In these cases, the system assumes that the earnings have already been withdrawn as part of the withdrawal request.
To receive future Passive Income payments, ensure that sufficient funds remain in your Main Account until the monthly payment date.
I activated monthly payouts on my Vault, but I didn't receive all accumulated earnings. Why?
Monthly payouts only apply to earnings generated after the monthly payout option is activated.
Any earnings that accumulated before monthly payouts were enabled will remain in the Vault and will be paid out when the Vault reaches maturity.
For example, if a Vault has been accumulating earnings for several months and monthly payouts are activated today, only future earnings will be paid monthly. Previously accumulated earnings will stay invested in the Vault until its maturity date.
What happens if I turn off Passive Income?
When Passive Income is disabled, no monthly payment will be sent to your bank account.
Earnings generated in your Main Account will remain in your SmartSaver Main Account.
If monthly payouts are enabled on a Vault, the earnings will be transferred to your Main Account and remain there.
If monthly payouts are not enabled on a Vault, the earnings will remain in the Vault until maturity.
You can enable or disable both Passive Income and Vault monthly payouts at any time from your account settings.
