To create a SmartSaver account, you need to be a resident or citizen of a country in the European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland.
Customers residing outside the EEA or Switzerland, such as in Paraguay or Dubai, are not eligible to open or maintain a SmartSaver account.

If you become ineligible to use the SmartSaver account due to relocation or changes in tax residency, you must close your account and withdraw all funds promptly to comply with regulatory requirements. Failure to do so may result in account suspension or other actions as outlined in the Terms of Use.
Countries of residency and tax residency included are: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Switzerland. Additionally, tax residency outside the EEA or Switzerland disqualifies users from opening or maintaining a SmartSaver account, regardless of other financial ties to the EU. If you relocate outside the EEA or Switzerland, you will no longer be eligible to use the SmartSaver account, even if you maintain ties such as an EU SEPA bank account or phone number.

You can switch the language of the website at any time by clicking the language selector located in the top right corner of the page, right before the Login/Logout button.
